Very happy to share the completion of the fantastic course on Conflict Transformation via Coursera!
This immersive experience not only introduced me to the profound concept of conflict transformation but also clarified its distinctions from conflict resolution, management, and prevention.
A great thank you goes out to the brilliant Ellen Ott Marshall , speaker and teacher from Emory University , whose presentations created an engaging and rich learning environment. Thank you all to the people behind such wonderful videos.
I'd also like to draw some attention to a great UNIC colleague, Paula Comellas Angulo whose wonderful insights added an extra layer to the course. Paula introduced me to the concept of Imperfect Peace by Alejandro Mu?oz. Such a happy surprise to find common interests in the UNIC network.

This course has reshaped my understanding of conflicts, revealing that they are not merely disruptive forces but possess the inherent potential for positive change. I learn to view conflicts as opportunities for growth and transformation while using active listening, behavioral insights, curiosity, and analytical thinking.
It has been eye-opening to realize that conflicts when approached with understanding and empathy, can pave the way for harmony and positive change.
As I reflect on this course, I ask myself a timely question: How do I live well amid ongoing conflicts?
I’m looking forward to practicing these skills in the future.??
