Configure environment banner as instance administrator

Environment banners are some great new features in Oracle APEX 21.2. Environment banners can be displayed either on the left or at the top of the page. You can define an environment banner for a specific workspace or an entire development instance. Environment banners at the workspace level overwrite those defined at the instance level.

This is how you define an environment banner as an instance administrator:

• Log in to the Oracle Application Express administration services.
• Click Manage Instance.
• Under Messages, click Define Environment Banner.

In the dialog box:

• Enable Banner - Specify whether to enable an environment banner. Choose Yes or No.
• Position - Select the position of the banner to display. Choose Left or Top.
• Label - Edit the text to display as a label on the banner.
• Color - Select the banner color.
