Liquid silver paint is very common chemical and most of us should have used it during scanning electron microscopy (SEM) sample preparation. For us silver paint comes only with one specification. But in reality it is not the case.
Before placing the order or I must say before application we should know the following for best analytical results:
1.??????What is silver flake grain size?
2.??????Service temperature. Stability at low or high temperature
3.??????Sheet resistance
4.??????Adhesion compatibility to nonconductive materials such as plastics, ceramics, wood, glass, epoxies and most metals.
5.??????Drying time: Normal drying or fast drying having low VOC
6.??????Information on Binder & Carrier
