Opened the door and saw her

Cough so dry, she tried harder

Water and juice at her side

Helping the food to slide

 

Mother is there to take care

Of her precious brilliant daughter

Concern I feel she wants to

Eliminate the pain my sister is going through

 

Bought some food and drinks for snacks

Everyone in the room I want to relax

Tried to create some humor around

To make their mood light and sound

 

Before I walked out the door

Told my sister that I will pray for

Her sickness to be gone so soon

So she can enjoy again the sun and moon
