Concrete Cares 2018

2018 is well underway and Concrete Cares is finding new ways to help families and children facing the daily challenges of cancer in their lives. We have come to realize cancer never has a holiday, vacation or a day off. Its desire is to inflict hurt and pain upon families and children. Now beginning our seventh-year Concrete Cares is making new resolves to help others dealing with the reality of cancer in their lives.

For the third year along with some outstanding efforts from sponsors, we were once again able to help the Candlelighters Childhood Foundation of Nevada during World of Concrete www.candlelightersnv.org

Our next effort will take place in Hot Springs Arkansas at the Arkansas Ready Mix Concrete Convention March 8-10. Our goal is helping families and children in Arkansas dealing with cancer in their lives. Our goal is handing out Concrete Cares shirts and raise funds with donations and prizes we have at our " Concrete Cares cornhole toss game. One item we are continuing is collecting new children's DVDs that we can take to hospitals where children are being treated for cancer. We were able to provide over 30 DVDs at World of Concrete for the Candlelighers In Arkansas, we continue to help fight cancer the concrete way " 1 yard at a time" If you read this article consider sending a DVD to Concrete Cares.

Concrete Cares is very excited that Rocky Geans will be offering his 2-day business school for construction contractors the first week in October location exact dates TBA, all proceeds from this workshop will be given to help families and children who are feeling the effects of cancer in their lives. During 2018 we are working hard to see the Concrete Cares logos and decals to be added to Web sites and Facebook pages, trucks and equipment a long time goal is having Concrete Cares make a difference in all 50 states and many cities.
