Conclusion of a smart essay

Conclusion of a smart essay

Within "Where Good Ideas come from" by Steven Johnson, out of the 9 chapters (including Introduction and Conclusion), I found most inspiring #2, #3, #4 and #5, whereas I am not sure I thoroughly understood how to pursue Exaptation. The book gives a clear insight of those factors that allowed (and still allow) good ideas to come to light, as it happened in history: they might be simpler than you think, but they are often forgotten or underestimated (e.g. taking a coffee break longer than usual as Watson and Crick).

I placed several marks on the book, about which I will work to get on with something useful professionally-wise, and Imay try to report some of them soon.

Surely worth of quoting is the message of the author to the readers who mean to work on getting new ideas (freely shuffled by myself): take a walk, keep a diary (but with some chaos in it), be curious, get part to new clubs and mix up, borrow, reinvent and recycle as much as you can and good ideas will blossom as in a lush.
