Concerned Haulier.. Looking to hear if others have been effected !!

I'd like to hear if anyone else out there has been noticing or experiencing problems on the roads due to the untended highways with over growing trees and foliage.

We are sustaining an unprecedented amount of damage to trailers in recent months with over hanging trees or seriously overgrown hedgerows which appear to not be getting cut back and tended. We have had to cover the cost for two full trailer roof repairs and had a 3rd trailer a total right off , not to mention covering the costs for many of gouges and scratch claims. We predominantly move brand new trailers for our clients and customers and so it's starting to become untenable and a constant worry.

We have just now had a trailer catch another over hanging tree on an A road which has then fallen on to the vehicle behind. Luckily all parties are okay but this could have so been a different outcome and not just another cost added to us for another roof damaged trailer and car .

Please let me know if any one is experiencing any problems as i believe it possibly to be coming a national problem and needs action.
