Concept's In AI (Generative vs Traditional)
Please understand what Generative AI is (https://www.forbes.com/sites/bernardmarr/2023/07/24/the-difference-between-generative-ai-and-traditional-ai-an-easy-explanation-for-anyone/?sh=6a46fe6508ad)
I know the advancement in AI would be up to some limit be defined by what it can do in terms of showing intelligence, but Generative AI isn't the best way to show this intelligence, I believe to much efforts are being put in the field of Generative AI models that show results in 90% of these benchmarks, but not only is the 10% missing but also 90% is not something that needs too much intelligence.
One of the course corrections would be to used the Traditional AI Models to show Intelligence in the 10% of these benchmarks and 90% should be using a Traditional AI Model, One of the Traditional AI models that I would suggest is Hallucinations (which blocks Generative AI Acceptance), Why is Hallucinations to be covered in Traditional AI. Because it is not generative, but a side effect of mis information that has lead into the Specific AI.
I also feel that going this way is very good in the sense because the future isn't just Generative AI, Future could Bringing Cognitive into Research/Operations, And is the future in 50 years time.
This would also bring in something that has always been lacking in AI (Firstly due to unacceptance of AI for about half a century and now a war to accept it) that is Research into Future, Collaborations which help us in the Future, Common Principals for more advancements and not being run by financial requirements that can be quite detrimental for AI as such.
