The concept of hygiene for health...

I've recently read an interesting  article Healthcare - the sharp end of cleaning  I'd like sharing with you, again on the concept of hygien for health and environment,  too.  Cleaning in hospitals is a worldwide sensible matter, one of the most demanding areas of the healthcare sector, that requires attention, efforts, more skilled and trained manpower, but also … the right tools to help a good cleaning team.

Beyond the widely stressed need for handwashing, prevention and control of the surface-transmitted infections require a disinfection of proved effectiveness. Traditional disinfection technologies have some drawbacks , for example, the so called “active ingredients” that is, the  chemicals used … and quite often  over-used by a cleaning staff that not always know enough about strengths and weaknesses of the disinfectant solutions they use…

I think that the best surface and room disinfectant for - but not limited to - hospitals would have to be easy to use, assure a quick disinfection, reduce potential cross-contamination, be safe, non-toxic for humans and  surfaces too. 

A quality steam vapor system can be the new approach to infection control that is chemical-free, environmentally friendly, extensively active and effective.

We personally have experienced what we say with our steam cleaning units which are now being used successfully in many hospitals and elderly care facilities, especially in North America.

In my personal opinion, steam can be the right technology, the safe change which can  impact human health and make a difference.
