The Computer Game Battlefront II and its Commercial - Part of the Perfect Transmedia Star Wars

Transmedia is a complex communication which integrates numerous marketing and non-marketing communications in their traditional and digital dimensions.
Some of the most successful examples of global trasmedia are the Star Wars films and the other products created on their basis.
Such a product is the “Star Wars: Battlefront II” computer game created by Swedish company EA DICE.
This is the natural continuation of “Rogue One: A Star War Story” in the computer transmedia extensions.
At 2017, a fiction novel on this computer game was written on the basis of the game (or the game was novelised). The book describes how the Empire troopers fight against the remains of rebels. The atmosphere and style of the film are preserved in the computer game.
This transmedia is typical cooperative communication – many and different filmic, literature, computer and other texts, united on the basis of one and same idea. The obvious proof is also the commercial for the computer game, coping entirely the poetics of Star Wars movies.
