Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park Presents IN-LIGHT II
Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park presents an enchanting light and sound display, created by light artists Luxmuralis this autumn.
The historic Warwickshire art gallery and former country house, Compton Verney is holding IN-LIGHT II, a follow on from their popular IN-LIGHT display last year. Being dubbed as ‘an autumn light spectacular’, the display draws on poetry and nature in a series of stunning light projections. See the written word brought to life in a rich and colourful palette projected onto Compton Verney’s Georgian fa?ade as flora and fauna are depicted on a miniature and epic scale.
The celebrations will be held over two weekends: Saturday 28 October & Sunday 29 October and Saturday 4 November & Sunday 5 November from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
When the IN LIGHT II project takes place on a weekend, don’t forget to stop by the Old Servants Hall and help create a unique artwork for Compton Verney which references the themes of words and nature.
The unique installation has been created by contemporary artists Luxmuralis using light and sound to reveal the relationship between poetry and nature. Luxmuralis is a collaborative team combining artists from different backgrounds and artistic disciplines creating works across multiple media and presentation formats. They aim to bring art onto the streets and provide access to visual artwork in public as well as unexpected places.
This will be a popular event therefore booking is highly recommended. Please visit comptonverney.org.uk or call 01926 645500 to book.
