It is for a large financial firm who prefers to keep confidential. As Portland is known as the “City of Bridges”, the interior designer melt “bridge” elements into the design.

The design shows the bridge elements are used in the ceiling and café screen.

To bring this vision to life, we created five stunning 3D renders. They not only capture the essence of the design but also serve as a guiding beacon throughout the construction phase. The foundation of any successful rendering project lies in meticulous 3D modeling. The client had prepared a basic SketchUp model. So what we did was to refine it by importing into 3ds Max. Our skilled 3D modelers meticulously recreated the architectural elements of the space, from walls and ceilings to doors and windows. Because the architect provided a detailed FF&E information, we strictly followed the plan. At last, furniture, lighting fixtures, and even decorative elements were carefully modeled to ensure a complete and realistic representation.

Material Application

Once the structure was established, the magic of bringing the space to life began. We meticulously applied high-resolution textures to each element, meticulously replicating the look and feel of intended materials like wood, glass, and fabric. This meticulous attention to detail is crucial in achieving a photorealistic outcome.

Lighting plays a pivotal role in shaping the ambiance and functionality of any space. Our 3D artists created various lighting scenarios within the 3D environment. This allowed the client to visualize the interplay of natural and artificial light. Meanwhile, it enabled them to make informed decisions about lighting placement and type, ensuring the space would be well-lit for various activities.

Rendering amp; Refinement

With the groundwork laid, it was time to render the final visuals. The 3D specialists utilized advanced rendering software to generate high-resolution images. In order to achieve this, we captured the intricate details of the 3D model, textures, and lighting. Finally, five photorealistic 3D renders that captured the essence of the future office space were created.

As the project progressed, our client, driven by a commitment to perfection, sought an additional view to explore an alternative design scenario. They came up with a “Plan B”. In this plan, the color scheme of the cupboards of the café space was changed from the original cool grey to navy blue. This nuanced alteration aimed to inject a fresh vibrancy into the space while maintaining the overall coherence of the design. As a result, our CG team created a navy version café space at no extra cost. Because the workload was manageable, we prioritized client satisfaction over financial considerations.
