RNA-chromatin interactome data is known to be very noisy due to non-specific interactions and protocol issues. To find meaningful regulatory interactions between RNA and DNA, extensive filtering is needed. Researchers propose a new method involving triad interactions among RNA, protein, and DNA, which reduces noise and yields more significant results compared to traditional pairwise interactions. This method can validate RNA-chromatin contacts using specific experiments and filters interactions based on protein functions.
