WASP and Paolo Castelli joined forces to produce new 3D printed lampshades
WASP has collaborated with Paolo Castelli SPA on the creation of a unique set of 3D-printed ceramic suspension lamps named ‘Haibu’, an innovative project featuring light, 3D printing, and the functional versatility of stoneware.
These lampshades were 3D printed by WASP using their large-scale LDM 3D printers, successfully translating the designer’s concept into a real product through computational design.

Comec Innovative SRL launches FIBERCARE project
The aim of this project is to develop a prototype machine for the production of prepregs (PrePreg) in composite with recycled carbon fibres, validating the material through its characterization and creating products for the automotive industry.
The use of recycled fibers in prepregs offers numerous advantages over traditional continuous fiber prepregs, such as considerable impact resistance and ease of processing.

Massivit 3D Printing Technologies, a leading provider of industrial 3D printing systems signed 15 new purchase orders for the sale of Massivit 3000 printers valued at $3 million.
The company’s printers will be provided by the end of 2024. All new orders were received during the largest international printing exhibition, drupa, which was held in Germany on May 28 to June 7.
