Whether that's adding unnecessary meetings to your already too busy calendar or drowning in emails that could be dealt with in an easier way. There are steps that could make things run in a simpler way, if you embraced it.
There are opportunities to streamline things but you'd rather stay with inefficiencies as 'that's the way you've always done it'. It worked when you first started doing it that way, but things change. Technology changes, communication styles change and you have to be open to reviewing how you do things on a regular basis to stay efficient.
From how you get clients to how you keep clients. From how you deliver your services to how you get paid. From how you create content to how you market and sell.
There are choices - complicated or simple.
Complication can often be defined by 3 areas:
You have no system.

You have a broken system.
So if they're not saving you time and headspace, then there's something broken.

Complication helps you self sabotage.
If you keep things complicated, you're always 'busy'. You don't have time to focus on developing the new services you want or launch your podcast or write your book. Staying small and hidden could be your way of embracing complication.
Now you've removed complication you're expecting to always have the feet up. But removing complication won't mean that there are no problems. Everything won't always be plain sailing. However, it's certain going to be a lot easier to navigate those difficult situations when they do happen.
