Absolutely. The compliance process starts with assessing the risks of non-compliance that may impact various business lines, creating regulatory and normative maps, developing mitigation plans, and aligning them with the company strategy. Then, develop regulatory and process elements, integrate them with other management aspects, and deploy the mechanisms. We conduct internal audits to evaluate the system's performance, and finally, we go to a third-party certification body to certify that our system has achieved an adequate level of conformity with the ISO 37301 standard.

This entire process is repeated incessantly. Our goal is to improve the system's performance with each iteration and achieve our objectives more easily.

2. How does ISO 37301 certification set a company apart in the oil and gas industry?

These innovative management schemes, allow us to reinforce our commitment to adding value to the industry, our clients, and stakeholders. We lead these compliance initiatives hoping that more participants in our industry will join in and that the value chain will grow robustly and sustainably.

To the extent that more participants share an ethical, legal, and compliance standard, it will be easier to do business and integrate into high-value productive projects.

3. What impact do you foresee this certification will have on stakeholders and clients?

Stakeholders, including clients, will observe an increased focus on tracking their expectations and compliance with requirements, aligning with our existing integrated management system. In addition, we are inviting them to participate more actively and less reactively so that the value chain we mentioned earlier is a construction of several actors where each one contributes from their specialty to the robustness of the system.
