How We Achieve Compliance

At Aquavape, we take compliance very seriously. We know that our retailers and their customers want to be sure that the products they purchase are not only of high quality but also meet legal standards. That's why we work closely with Arcus Compliance to ensure that all of our vape products are fully compliant.?

“So we work with a AQL, hand in glove, to test products that you supply to your major retailers. And that testing can be as simple as making sure that the labelling and packaging is correct up to ensuring that the nicotine content and the fill of the device is correct. It’s a comprehensive package…to ensure that your products are legal and remain on the shelves.”

Arcus Compliance carries out a range of inspections on the?packaging, fill volume and nicotine capacity. This is an essential process for us to instil confidence in our retail customers that the products we supply meet the required standards. With the recent negative press around non-compliant vape products, we want our retail customers to know they can trust the products they purchase from us.

What Retailers Must Do To Achieve Compliance?

Retailers must take proactive steps to prevent the sale of vapes to minors. Adopting the Challenge 25 policy is an

effective way for retailers to tackle this issue. By requesting ID from customers who look under the age of 25, retailers can ensure that they are not selling to minors.

It’s a straightforward system that can significantly impact?reducing youth vaping rates. Retailers must take this?responsibility seriously and implement robust measures to?prevent underage vaping.

The Future Of Vaping

Vaping has become the most popular method to quit smoking in the UK. It's twice as effective as all NRT products combined. However, it's overshadowed by other issues that are starting to surface. To reach the smoke-free 2030 goal, the uptake of vaping needs to increase by at least 40%.?

“To even get anywhere close to that 2030 goal, we’ve got to improve the uptake of vaping by at least 40%. The government knows that vaping is a key part but I think it’s up to the industry now to prove that we are responsible part of that solution.”

Retailers must continue promoting vaping to help those who want to quit smoking. It is a crucial step towards a smoke-free future.
