A cadence of rhythm and focus.

A business needs two things 100% of the time.

It needs to contact prospects to get sales and it needs to focus on productive steps to build product or delivery focus.

Both are 100% focus and time spent on one may mean time lost to the other.

A very real problem with software is complexity.

Good software deals with complexity so that the user does not have to think about it.

Cadence-CRM is designed like that.

It's overarching design principle is "You already know what to do."

It is designed to be part of your workflow.

Leveraging AI

To write software you need to have a competent team. But now you can leverage AI.

I asked AI about programming and sometimes it told the truth but mostly it was misleading. Out of date. Sometimes downright dangerous.

People fear that AI could take their jobs. What really happens is as you develop skills with AI, you get better at your job. It becomes a collaborator.

Working with AI to make Cadence-CRM could provide a side-hustle: teaching people to develop with AI. I am working on making content to train your team.

Cadence-CRM

I had to solve two problems:


  • Customer development from leads
  • Keeping track of my sales activity


I tried using Hubspot but I spent most of the time not actually focused on the sales activity as I tried to understand what it was doing. It is an excellent tool if you know how to use it.

And then I tried two other CRMs. They were simple enough.

The free subscriptions were good for a test drive, but they then expired and I lost access to my data!

The functionality was simply not enough to justify the cost but having to maintain a subscription or being threatened that my data would be lost did not inspire confidence.

Two problems to address:


  • Customers must own their data
  • Subscriptions must be optional


The business model for Cadence-CRM will meet with this expectation. It was designed for coaches and solo-entrepreneurs.
