Complex System Design & EPOC Programme

How can we combine and improve methods from data science, network theory and agent-based simulations to make good economic decisions or to address the challenges of climate change?

EPOC program with its brilliant and distinguished young researchers will be busy on the matter for the next three years. We had the privilege to meet them in person this week at the University of Copenhagen.

Some of them will have the chance to collaborate with us at Lucidminds AI at our two relevant projects: Trees AI and DataVille.

At Trees AI, we are tackling systemic relations between financing, accounting and care for urban nature. The granularity of the scenario analysis of the framework that we are building is at each individual tree level within an urban area.

In DataVille, however, we will be questioning meanings and implications of labour and privacy in a global data economy in terms of social well-being and value redistribution.
