Completion of #100daysofpractice Challenge!
Today I complete the #100daysofpractice challenge that I started on January 1st. This is part of my New Year’s Resolutions for 2021. Soon it will be the 2-Year-Anniversary with me and my violin, and this is the best gift for my dear violin and to myself.
This #100daysofpractice challenge proved that an intimidating task may not be as hard as I think it is. There are definitely days where I really wanted to skip a day of practice, either due to having a long day or feeling a bit under the weather. Don’t overthink it or try to find excuses, just open the violin case, tune, and start practising.
I’m very grateful for my violin idol Hilary Hahn who initiated this challenge, seeing my idol practising every day is so inspirational. I’m very grateful for my wonderful violin teacher that supports me, guides me, and encourages me to keep practising. I’m very grateful for TwoSet Violin for all the videos that made violin practising fun and more exciting. And I’m very grateful for my dear violin!
Violin is difficult, practising every day is difficult, participating in this challenge as an adult violin beginner is difficult but totally manageable! Hopefully, this extends to most if not all of the difficulties in life.
