We live in a world where everyone wants your time, energy, or money—and the expectation is that you’ve got to explain yourself when you decline. But here’s the thing: you don't. You want what you want because you want it. Period. I’ve learned that owning your boundaries isn’t just empowering—it’s essential for survival. When I say no to something, it opens space for the things that actually move the needle in my business and life.

Let me be real: saying no doesn’t mean shutting everything out—it’s about curating the right things. I recently left a CEO roundtable group. I went every week for six months, but my heart wasn’t in it. I found myself on my phone halfway through meetings, bored out of my skull. So, I made the call: I told the host I was done. No drama. No excuses. Just no.
