But what does the controlling function entail? And how does it affect you? Well, the controlling function is like a compass that helps your company stay on its path of predetermined mission, processes, and roles. A controller’s role is to present reliable Intel to the decision-makers as per agreed objectives.

Given the megatrends like increased complexity, volatility, internationalization, and higher demand for transparency and compliance, controlling functions have modified as well.
