Competition vs Collaboration ?

In the emerging connected world , there is full of new opportunities. Instead of being another me too. When #ChatGPT #AI cropped up in 2023, there was an experience like never ever before , Who is this new player #SamAltman and #OpenAI etc ? He made it open source of access to Artificial Intelligence . Democratized the market .. Something that Blackrock and other Investment Bankers or the #Netflix and #Amazon were always using AI but ChatGPT became available for free. Well the credit goes to #ElonMusk who funded it initially .. Then Microsoft realized that it would be missing the bus and so Satya Nadella invested a billion dollar in ChatGPT rather than making in-house. Satya mentions in his treatise of Hit Refresh way back in 2017 about AI being the game changer. He had the foresight .. Integrating with Microsoft browser and search Engine Bing was not winning like ChatGPT .

But can Google just watch.. It came up with #Bard.. Later renamed it to #Gemini.. The customers were having the best of the both the world to cross validate . Little realizing that these Freemium models were just a bait to get the critical mass of users. ChatGPT started demanding 20$ per month for the upgrade . That gave Google advantage with the latest AI with no extra charge..They were finding Google Search Engine users were dropping and customer finding better options

Then came from nowhere the brat #AravindSrinivas of IIT Madras with #Perplexity.. The market place were buzz with stupid AI trainers saying that one needs to know Prompt Management. Come on .. anyone with common Business knowledge and English, AI is no rocket science. So Perplexity came up with Prompt Generator making deep dive research more addictive for curious mind.. It would go on and on generating. It would also tell the source from the contents are being pulled out.. Subtly Perplexity became a Google Search Engine killer

But there is nothing like Free lunch.. Perplexity started saying that saying for more prompt pay 20$ a month or wait for 4 hours to reload for free. Now Perplexity has become addictive. Literally an opium for curious mind . Perplexity is not a talcum powder fancy

Might as well pay 20$ a month to Perplexity and then came a bonus benefits.. That with Perplexity upgrade can access the ChatGPT 4 and Dalle-E , Claude 3 etc . But no mention of Google Gemini.. Which anyway is not charging
