The co-authors of Fund for Shared Insight’s Participatory Philanthropy Toolkit introduce a new resource to help funders equitably compensate community members involved in participatory philanthropy. ?
“As the sector continues to embrace participatory approaches that include people impacted by the work of philanthropy, we would like to see equitable compensation for participants become the norm,” write Katy Love and Winifred Olliff .
The new resource, added as an update to the toolkit, focuses on the practical aspects of compensating participants, offering tips, checklists, and frameworks.
