Compassion Fatigue - Specialised Burnout Prevention Training.

  • Reducing one's workload,
  • Letting colleagues know that we're struggling,
  • Seeking professional help.

Improving the condition isn't always about making huge changes. Sometimes simply connecting to our values of why we do this work can be really important in combating against and even preventing compassion fatigue.?

STEP 2

This is where leaders come in since they have the bird eye view on teams or departments that may home many of the helping professionals that require new level understanding and adjustments to their working pressure. Learning to navigate the work environments of these healthcare practitioners with enough sensitivity is essential for burnout prevention. "Understanding leadership, trust or high performance theory is different to real-world experience and knowing what it feels like when change occurs."
