Compassion and Action

Sure you have problems and troubles

I never thought any thing less

And yes I understand it disturbs you

Putting you under great duress,

I know you get short with your temper

And sometimes speak words quite mean

No I don’t judge you unkindly

When you fly off and cause such a scene

Oh I understand why your smoking

As you have said your nerves are shot

And I forgive you for not asking permission

Taking what you need from what I’ve got.

In fact only one thing disturbs me

And I am sure that you see it too

That you scream and yell and condemn me

When I have acted anything similar to you
