Comparison: A widespread disease

Comparison it is built into our society. Moulded into the deepest root of the society often is the cause of one's unhappiness. Comparison is a disease I believe. A disease that stops you from hearing yourself. A disease that prevents you from being who you are meant to be.

We all are too busy comparing ourselves to our neighbours, friends, and everyone around. Oh how couldn't I afford that expensive car while my friend has it. You can't compare yourself to someone who isn't you. It doesn't mean you should stop asking yourself to do better or competing to be better. You should compare yourself to the person in the mirror.

Only if you be a better version of yourself you can become great. Your only competition is you everyone else are side actors. You need to figure out what is it that inspires you instead of working 18 hrs to get an expensive car. Focus on what is it that you can do for the world. Focus on building your legacy.
