The world of artificial intelligence (AI) is evolving rapidly, with new and improved models appearing every day that impress with their capabilities. This progress makes AI more accessible to a wide range of users, opening new horizons for creativity, research, and business.
In this article, we will conduct a comparative analysis of four popular AI models: Gemini, ChatGPT, Bing Chat, and Claude. We'll take a look at their strengths, weaknesses, capabilities, and potential applications to help you determine which model best suits your needs.
A brief description of each model
Gemini: This is a large language model from Google AI that has access to a huge dataset of text and code. Gemini can generate text, translate languages, write various types of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way.
ChatGPT: It is an AI-based chatbot developed by OpenAI. ChatGPT can carry on conversations, generate various creative text formats, and answer your questions in an informative way.
Bing Chat: This is an AI-powered chatbot developed by Microsoft. Bing Chat can have conversations, answer your questions, and help you with various tasks.
Claude: This is a large language model from Anthropic that is specially designed to generate various creative text formats such as poetry, code, scripts, music, emails, letters, etc.
In the following sections, we will take a closer look at each of these models, compare their features and functions, and provide recommendations on which model is best suited for different tasks.
Gemini
Gemini is the first model to outperform human experts on MMLU (multitasking language understanding). Seeing that this is one of the most used methods to test the knowledge and problem-solving ability of AI models says a lot about Gemini's capabilities.
Gemini AI competence areas include:
Gemini is available in three variants - Nano, Pro and Ultra - designed to meet the diverse needs of users. Nano is designed for quick tasks on the device, while Pro is a versatile version that serves as a mid-range. Ultra is the most powerful of the three versions and will be available next year as it undergoes security testing.
Chat GPT
Chat GPT is an impressive technological advancement in which human-to-human interaction provides creativity and an emotional touch that no machine can replicate. This speech processing program is able to distinguish between human speech and written language, allowing it to understand the information it needs to perceive and what to produce as a result. The user can enter a question, and the neural network will provide a clear answer in a variety of formats with precise conditions.
What are the features of Chat GPT?
In the Chat service sector, GPT is used as the basis of a chatbot for 24/7 customer support. In creative and creative industries, AI helps to create high-quality articles, blog posts, video scripts, and marketing materials. In the education sector, chat can become a tutor, translator, and teacher, which means it helps to create a curriculum and do homework. Researchers use ChatGPT to analyze and summarize large amounts of text data.
Bing Chat
Bing AI is a feature of Microsoft's Bing search engine that uses artificial intelligence to provide better search results, more complete answers, and the ability to generate content. It has the results of indexing many thousands of sites, and the AI training base is updated daily.
Bing chat features:
Bing puts a clickable number next to almost every generated statement and also clearly displays the addresses of the source sites below the answer box. You can go to any of these sources and check the accuracy of the statement. What's worth noting is that the search bot is based on the Chat GPT 4 language model, and it's free!

Claude 3
Anthropic, the company behind the Claude chatbot, has announced its Claude 3 family of models, which is the most advanced model for cognitive tasks, surpassing GPT4 and Gemini.
Claude 3 has three of the most powerful models in the model family. These are Claude 3 Haiku, Claude 3 Sonnet, and Claude 3 Opus (in order of increasing capabilities).
Why Claude 3 positions itself as the best among all other AIs:
It is important to note that Claude 3 was trained on the powerful computing resources of Amazon AWS and Google Cloud. These companies are known to have invested in Anthropic,
which explains why they have access to such significant computing power.
How do four AIs work and which assistant to choose
Having familiarized ourselves with the four neural networks, let's see how they work and compare them. Let's do this using the examples of rewriting and copywriting.
Post to the Telegram channel - rewrite
Gemini. We set the command "Act like a rewriter. Rewrite this article." What the neural network does is to structure the material and add information.
Chat GPT. After the command, the fourth version rewrites the text with the addition of its own opinion. The content of the article is not structured. It adheres to the number of characters and paragraphs.
Bing Chat. After the command, the neural network provides links in the search, the text is unstructured, solid. However, it also adds links in the text, i.e. it works as a fact-checker.
Claude 3. Immediately after the command, the text is displayed with the same number of characters, unstructured, but unlike Bing Chat, it has spaces between sentences and paragraphs.
Gemini performed better in this test. However, each AI has its advantages.
Link-based selling text for social media
Gemini. This network apologized and wrote that it cannot process links. So there is no post!
Chat GPT. Immediately after the command, the fourth version of the chat starts processing the link, but not quickly. While it was processing, the other network had already received the task and written a post. And the chat was still hanging at the processing stage. When it hung, the generated text appeared, in the style of social networks, along with emojis. But either it was a bug or something else - the letters in the words where he put the link (which is in every line) disappeared and the phrases became unintelligible.
Bing Chat. After the command, the chat immediately processed the touch and generated a post. However, it still needs to be customized visually and in terms of product characteristics.
Claude 3. After the command, the generated advertising text is displayed, although it was written under the task that he could not read the link. But he made a post with the characteristics of the product. It was designed in the style of social networks - structured and with emojis.
Claude 3 did the best in this test. Gemini was unable to complete the reference-based task at all.
Analyze the document and write a summary
Gemini. This AI does not have the ability to upload a file, only an image.
Chat GPT. After we gave it the command and uploaded the file, the chat said that it could not see the file, although it was uploaded. On the second attempt, the neural network succeeded and wrote a description in general sentences, unstructured.
Bing Chat. This neural network does not have the ability to upload a file, only an image.
Claude 3. This artificial intelligence immediately provided a description of the file after it was uploaded. Moreover, it did it according to the content and wrote the text in a structured manner.
In this test, Claude 3 did the best job. While Gemini and Bing Chat failed to complete the task at all due to the lack of the ability to upload files.
So, you can do various tests of the most popular neural networks: recognizing a picture in an image, writing a synopsis based on a script, an article with a promo, creating a script for a video, etc. And see which language model can handle the task better.
It's up to you to decide which of the four language models you want to use - Gemini, Chat GPT, Bing Chat, or Claude 3. In this article, I've tried to familiarize you with their characteristics, advantages, and differences. You need to remember that all neural networks are imperfect, and I do not recommend hoping that you will get a perfect result right away. Moreover, the result itself still depends on a properly formed prompt and AI capabilities.
