Comparison Between Coupled and Uncoupled Dynamic Analysis of Floating Offshore WTG Support Structure
The technical paper " Comparison Between Coupled and Uncoupled Dynamic Analysis of Floating Offshore WTG Support Structure " to the prestigious Offshore Technical Conference (#OTC2024), offers comprehensive comparison of the similarities and differences between the coupled and uncoupled analyses of the integrated structure model. The purpose of this research is to compare coupled and uncoupled analysis methodologies for the integrated model of a wind turbine generator (WTG) floating foundation structure. The study uses the #MOSES analysis software by #Bentley and the #OpenFAST program by #NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) to conduct a side-by-side comparison of the two methodologies.?
My sincere gratitude goes out to our co-authors Shashikant Sarada, Anupam Gupta, and Bitna Seo for providing valuable feedback and guidance throughout the process. In addition, we would also like to show our appreciation to Michael Drunsic and Geoff McDonoald for his valuable input.
