This study evaluated the accuracy of virtual dental patients (VDPs) using industrial and smartphone facial scanners with two integration techniques: virtual facebow and nose-teeth scans. Both scanners showed similar trueness, but the industrial scanner was more precise. The nose-based integration technique exhibited superior accuracy, particularly for precision at tooth #21. Smartphone scanners offer comparable trueness but reduced precision.
