To support the Ricor Group Purchasing strategy, an opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Manager at one of our European Manufacturing facilities. This is a full-time role based at either the Ricor Poland or Slovakia site.

Key Responsibilities:

·????????Develops and manages Procurement strategies that maximize value for the business based on the understanding of business needs and supply market potential.

·????????Negotiating and contracting with suppliers, evaluating on-going contract and supplier performance, and measuring contract compliance.

·????????Input into group-wide deals in support of the overall category strategy, including the supply chain and sourcing strategies.

·????????Segmenting and managing suppliers within the direct and indirect category.

·????????Developing the appropriate methods to incentivise and engage strategic suppliers and to measure their performance.

·????????Establishing appropriate supplier governance, fed by relevant data.

·????????Reporting of weekly KPI’s to Senior team with improvement plans where required.

·????????Supporting European Plant Directors with key Purchasing issues and cost control

·????????Provide leadership; manage, coach and develop direct reports and manage high performing teams that deliver continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.

Skills and Attributes:

·????????Ability to provide and act on robust analysis and statistical data

·????????Ability to identify and create an environment where category development, innovation and continuous improvement becomes part of the day job

·????????Excellent interpersonal, listening and influencing skills

·????????Negotiation skills

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

·????????5 years+ experience in Purchasing ideally within an automotive environment

·????????Ideally CIPS qualified

·????????High commercial acumen, with a proven ability to use procurement to unlock value for the business
