Theresa Morris is an adventurous, artistic and fun loving foodie. She grew up in the community of Wentworth, based in Durban Kwa-Zulu Natal, with her parents and younger sister. On weekends, Teresa and her family would attend the Saturday evening church service and enjoy sleeping in on Sunday mornings, followed by a big breakfast that was prepared by her parents as she and her sister decorated the dining table.?

She has fond memories of her schooling career.? Her primary school teachers nurtured her artistic talents and enrolled her for two poetry competitions. She placed in the top 10 in one of the competitions and 2nd place for the other.? She was popular among the high school students, earning the nickname smiley as she would smile and greet everyone. Her high school achievement was being appointed team leader of the school prefect team with her favourite subjects being Life Science and Accounting.?

“I joined the Partquip Durban team at age 18 in 2015 and started my journey as a temporary receptionist. A permanent position opened in January 2017, and I was hired as a junior administrator. I am fortunate to work in a wholesome environment, with kind colleagues. In 2019 I started my tertiary education with a Diploma in Financial Accounting which I completed in 2021. I decided to continue my studies and chose to take on the Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences, to potentially qualify as a Chartered Accountant. I chose this field as I enjoy a world where there is balance and order.”??
