Company followers & why you shouldn't care

Company followers & why you shouldn't care

21st Jan.?

Dry.

I think that I am personally going to keep going in February.?

Yes, I know I am becoming super boring, however, the level of productivity is through the roof. Unlike Molly-Mae, I feel my days are 309 hours long and as such I am able to produce so much more work.

Who knows, Ill probably crack.

Anyway.?

Company followers.

Most of my new business calls this is a subject that is always brought up as key metric for the business and something they want to increase.

Fundamentally, people buy people.?

It is far easier to build an audience from a person than a brand and it tends to build better trust, think Steve Jobs over Apple.

I am not saying it is not a good thing to have the company admired and I just suggesting that you should be trying to create a personal profile over this and if you are on a limited budget then do not give LinkedIn money to grow your followers for vanity.

So here are some basic tips on your organic LinkedIn profile that can help build your personal audience.

1) Use the audience you currently have by posting content daily.

People often find this a struggle but I want you to imagine your business as a big fat cake.

Slice thinly.?

Most people tend to write all of the benefits in one post. Slice thinly and you now have 5 posts for the week.

2) Variety?

LinkedIn offers a lot of different ways to share content — text posts, articles, images, videos — take advantage of them and use the format that best suits your message.

Polls are really popular at the moment as well so don't be afraid to use this for broader terms.

3) Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Linkedin do not like it when you are putting Links in your posts that divert traffic away from their platform.?

They want people to stay on site as long as possible so they can make revenue by you clicking on the adverts being posted.

If you need to use a link, put it as the first comment.

4) Engage

Comments are a great way for people to find you. Start following hashtags where you know your prospects will be and start commenting on posts with your opinion. The more you work at LinkedIn, the more it will work for you.

FREE TIP ON HOW TO GET FOLLOWERS TO YOUR LINKEDIN PAGE

That being said, you can grow your followers for free by the following tip.

*You must be an admin of the page.

1) Go to your company page (Admin View)

2) Click Admin Tools on the top right

3) Invite your connections to follow the page.

You get 100 of these credits a month and if someone accepts you get that credit back to use on someone else.
