These Companies Are Transforming the Technology Powering Commerce and Marketing Tech

Hey all, we’re back for a bonus edition of the newsletter because we’ve got a bunch to share this week.

In partnership with 贝恩公司 and Coresight Research , we launched the inaugural CommerceTech Power List, a set of the most exciting venture-backed commerce- and marketing-tech companies. These are the companies in the background that are allowing your favorite brands to offer you a better customer experience online. You can read more about what went into the project from BCV’s Scott Friend and Dawit Heck on our site, but here’s the batch of winners:

The Top 10 “Power Players” had $10 million or more in revenue, and the five “Rising Stars” fell below that threshold.

The pandemic forever transformed customers’ expectations of online retailers, and brands have been focusing on ways to maximize speed, customization and security — the Power Players are the companies that are helping make this happen. The Rising Stars are quickly reaching that level of service, as well, and are developing innovative infrastructure, platforms and tools (including those powered by AI) that allow brands to build stronger ties with customers.
