Comodule's connectivity system is?now integrated?with Shimano drivetrains, making advanced IoT features easily available?for bike brands using Shimano. Launching smart e-bikes is faster and more effortless as the IoT?integration to the e-bike system is already done. The?seamless digital ecosystem, including a Companion App?is available for all Shimano customers and riders.

Comodule has partnered with?nexsurance?to offer a 40% discount on e-bike insurance for all Comodule-equipped e-bikes in Germany. With the?discounted insurance and smart security features enabled by connectivity, e-bike owners gain peace of mind and don't need to worry about theft.

Discounted insurance rates make IoT technology more attractive to e-bike manufacturers as well. The savings from reduced insurance costs can be used to significantly reduce the investment in connectivity.
