Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day

On 11th November 2020 we remember our war heroes and reflect upon the silent war we face globally against coronavirus. Europe works to settle an amicable conclusion to Brexit. A newly elected President in America brings fresh direction to unity and peace. In a small corner of Cheshire beside a church, representatives of The British Legion, community leaders and local youth organisations come together to lay wreaths. They cannot join the Rector for a service so the laying of each wreath is individually filmed and photographed and we have collated this to create a short service. Do take a moment during this week of Remembrance to be silent and to listen to the church music and words and reflect upon those who gave up so much to benefit so many.
