biomindz Special Meet-up together with ACCF

More than 40 scientists from pharma and biotech experienced the transportation processes for air freight at Frankfurt Airport.

First, they visited a Lufthansa Cargo B777F, where the group had the opportunity to take a look inside an empty cargo plane. The Fraport AG cool dollies were placed next to the aircraft. The participants learned about the dimensions and possibilities of air freight.

Following the apron tour, the guests had the opportunity to gain an insight into the warehouse of Aviapharm GmbH , which specializes in the handling of pharmaceutical products. Johannes Fehl explained the special features of the facility, which ensure the safe and efficient handling of pharmaceutical shipments in the required temperature zones.

After the experts from pharma and biotech had gained various impressions of air freight and the transportation of pharmaceuticals, they exchanged views with the logistics experts at a get-together on the premises of Aviapharm GmbH. There were many exciting discussions about the challenges in air freight and the requirements for transportation from the scientific side, which we can meet at the Pharma Hub Frankfurt.
