Milestone reached in the Hub Performance competence team
The Hub Performance Task Force has reached its first major milestone in the import and export projects. Over the past few months, the individual project teams have been working on mapping out the import and export process and defining the milestones in the individual process steps. Together, the task force was able to agree on the current situation and thus create the basis for subsequently developing a target process to optimize cargo operations at Frankfurt Airport. The greatest challenge here was the inclusion of all those involved in the process and the agreement of the process implementation in detail. We are proud that we were able to reach this milestone within our air cargo community and thus actively contribute to operational excellence at the site.

Why Common PreCheck: Explanatory videos support use and communication for customers
The centralized ramp slot booking system “Common PreCheck” was opened four weeks ago. As the first joint infrastructure project, Common PreCheck optimizes traffic management in CargoCity South and creates a central point for booking slots for delivering and collecting drivers via the FAIR@Link community platform. Many slots have already been booked in recent weeks and the project team is working on further optimizing the software, the booking terminals and the building equipment at Gate 32. Drinks, snacks and coffee vending machines have also been available since last week.
In order to explain the process and use of Common PreCheck to our customers and truckers as simply as possible, explanatory videos in various languages have recently been made available on our YouTube channel (Common PreCheck playlist).
The available languages are: German, English, Bulgarian, Estonian, Lithuanian, French, Czech, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Russian and Turkish.
