Community or Lead Gen group
Let's lay some foundation here first:
Community and Lead Generation group are two different things.?
Most of groups, especially on Facebook, I am invited to nowadays are clearly lead generation groups - they will get you in with?intention to sell. (by the way - nothing wrong with it, but please don't disguise it as a "community")
True communities??I am literally part of 3-4 group like that. That's it.?
Community for me is a space where people feel supported, open to share their perspective, celebrate wins, ask for advice without a fear that someone will slide into their DMs with "irresistible" offer. It is an art to create a true, thriving community!
So why I stopped posting in my FB group?
Because I simply felt out of integrity by calling it community. I set it up couple years ago as a lead gen space, where people would not only get to know me, but also I could showcase my expertise... all with expectation that someone is going to sign up to work with me (again, nothing wrong with this approach! but just wasn't aligned with my vision)
Interesting fact is that?most of my clients?has come from other places... And that was clear sign for me that it is time for a change.?
Now, I share expertise and perspective using different vehicles.?You Tube?is one of those vehicles, and even though it is still early days as only few weeks ago I have properly stepped up my game there, but it is definitely high on my priority list.?

Will I open?new FB Group??
Potentially, but it will be with a pure intention of building a community & support, without only me posting in it.
