To the Community ITS Team, you are world class!
When a software glitch caused blue screen errors around the world, Community’s computers were no exception. But while other health systems had to postpone surgeries, cancel appointments, and in some cases, close their doors — Community did not.
We were able to continue serving the needs of our patients because of the immediate, coordinated response from our amazing Information Technology Services team.
As some of you know I spent years of my career in information technology, so I know and appreciate all that is involved in a reset of this magnitude.
I am so grateful to our ITS professionals and the many, many team members who worked alongside them to make sure that Community stayed online, and critical patient care was not impacted.
It’s events like this that remind me how strong and resilient the entire Community team is — and how lucky we all are to have them.

6 个月It was a challenge for all IT. Having a staff that remained calm and did what they were trained to do got every organization through to the other side. It’s great you recognize their hard work!
