Have you ever been in the situation where the Esri Basemaps are out of date and you need your most-up-to-date imagery available in the Field. In the past this would have meant you sharing your imagery to ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise and then adding the latest imagery as another layer in the map and then doing some fancy trickery to enable it all offline.
?What if your most recent imagery could be the basemap?? Well Esri has a Community Maps Program where you can contribute your imagery to the basemap and then it is always available both online and offline.? Your organisation can help improve the Imagery Basemaps by contributing your recent, submeter-resolution imagery.
The ?World Imagery map includes high-resolution aerial photography contributed by the GIS User Community.
