Community Garden Support

There is a community garden in the city of Guelph from which Michael House has been blessed. Priory Park Community Garden has had a few articles written about them in Guelph Today. The City of Guelph has an intro page on their website as well.

This garden resides on the property of Priory Park Baptist Church and to do the garden justice, one needs to look at their Facebook page.

There is a team of volunteers from another church who work their hands into the dirt of this garden – Crestwicke Baptist. Their produce is all donated to worthy causes and Michael House is one of the recipients.  

Here is a new step in our approach to make the best use of this produce as it is gifted to us. Kyra Ash is a nutritionist. With some special grant funding that we have received, we have invited her to start developing a program where we can take some of this produce, from the garden, and teach the ladies of Michael House how to incorporate them into their mealtime planning. We are excited what this new program will accomplish over the next few months.
