Community Engagement

With the upcoming elections happening on 4th July, we as a nation are looking how we can strengthen our communities ensuring economic prosperity, inclusion and sustainability.

Servo Group working nationally across most realms of industries we are reviewing our strategies as to how we can both enhance and encompass our engagement in the communities in which we work.

Understanding stakeholder requirements from local residents, business owners, clients and employees prior to commencement of works, we are able to encapsulate any predetermined risks and mitigate accordingly.

Notably on our works with Network Rail we reached out to the aforementioned parties, liaising with the Samaritans for additional training and guidance and adhering to industry standards and global initiatives such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This contract has since seen an uptake in local employment and indeed created a number of NVQ apprenticeships.

Tangible projects such as this are good reason as to why Servo Group continually meet stakeholder expectations, positively impact workforce wellbeing and engagement and prove our commitment to environmental and social governance.

The above all falls under our umbrella of company values and ethics, and we will look to identify any area of which we can improve our engagement techniques to make the most positive impact across the whole of the U.K.

For new works we are tendering presently, meticulous research is being undertaken towards local requirements, areas of deprivation, long term sustainability and investment opportunities.

We are always open to liaise with our clients and stakeholders to share ideas, giving a platform for cross collaboration allowing for larger scale schemes (sharing employment opportunities, providing expert hours volunteering, attending local council meetings etc.) working in consortia provides a more substantial proportion of resource available to facilitate the above.
