"My excitement about?joining the team, especially during the interview process, came when I had an opportunity to meet a lot of great minds and awesome?team members. There is?a lot of capability, intelligence and experience here. Healthcare is a new avenue for me, but I'm confident in this role because of the support I?received off the bat. It was without hesitation, team members told me 'We have your back'. We want you to succeed because now you're?one of us. You bring something valuable to the table and we will give you the rest'. That type of culture is invaluable," said Soni.?

It's why empowering people and helping them flourish is a key component of my management style. It's?all about relationships and people who influence you and?change the course."?Soni career journey includes multiple?leadership?positions at a few companies, including?a successful career as?Regional Vice President for Banfield Pet Hospital.

As Vice President of Operations for the Eastern Division, Soni is looking forward to working closely with the SouthStar, Coastal and BestMed clinics. We just have to keep our purpose in mind and remember it's all about the people. They're why we put in the hours and maintain love for our teammates," said Soni. Soni has only been on the team for a short period of time?but said she has already witnessed?care that is personal, "When I hear that, I think of empathy.?I think I’m going to receive?treatment that is tailored to my needs, acknowledging my fears and knowledge gaps." That's what I equate it to." Soni is looking forward to working with the team in continuing to move in the right direction.
