Bridging the Mobility Gap

Accessibility is a concern in many communities – particularly the elderly, individuals with disabilities, and those living in remote rural areas.

The capacity to hire a minibus is an important easilink feature – bridging the mobility gap faced by many community groups.

Easilink buses are accessible with low step entries, wheelchair access, and flexible seating arrangements. Through the minibus hire service groups can access essential services, engage with community activities, and make sure their members are not missing out because they do not have a transport option..

By providing this hire service easilink are enhancing mobility and actively promoting social inclusion and equality within the community.

Driving communities towards future environmental stewardship.

If you are asking how your group can improve its carbon footprint- one of the answers will be - reducing how many of your members are taking cars.

According to the UK Government's Department for Energy and Net Zero transport accounts for around one-quarter of global carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from energy.

The shift towards sustainable travel by communities seeking to reduce their environmental footprint has resulted in many small groups choosing to travel by minibus. It reduces the number of cars on the road, reduces the pressure on clubs to park cars at their training, events and competitions and is an affordable green alternative.

This consolidation leads to lower emissions, reduces traffic congestion contributing to cleaner air and reduced greenhouse gas emissions; aligning with community goals of sustainability and responsible environmental stewardship.
