Community building, not a career shift :)

Lately, I've been asked if my LinkedIn articles on visibility and career growth signal a shift towards a career coaching business, especially since I started posting them through a page I named Blue Daruma. The short answer? No. The long(er) version of my answer - below.
The truth is, my motivation runs deeper than just a career pivot. It's about fostering a sense of community and support within corporate environments. That's why I'm organizing monthly meetings, completely free of sales pitches or ulterior motives.
Having experienced the power of supportive communities first hand—especially now, outside the corporate bubble—I've come to realize their immense value. They've helped me shatter limiting beliefs, overcome mental barriers, and receive invaluable business advice—all wrapped in unwavering support and encouragement. It's something I sorely missed during my corporate days.
So, here's my agenda: to create a space where employees can come together without agendas or egos, where they can freely share their experiences, struggles, and triumphs. It's about offering guidance on navigating the corporate landscape while fostering a sense of camaraderie and support. Whether it's serving as accountability partners to drive action, offering a shoulder to lean on after a tough day, or delivering that much-needed dose of tough love, I want this community to offer support.
In essence, it's about paying forward the support and wisdom I've received and building a community that empowers each member to thrive in their careers.
As a reminder, the first meeting, covering (almost) all things visibility in the workplace will be on March 13th at 3 pm CET (EU time zone). Register here!

8 个月I love this! I think many of us dug deep during the pandemic, and realized how important and motivating that sense of community can be. Good luck, sounds like a fantastic initiative!

9 个月Hi Ondina I hope this finds you well? While building. Your community or culture May I simply ask if you have analyzed in detail what it is in the corporate structure that inhibits or precludes that which you seek to encourage I have a small company in the UK that I could recommend for review should you wish to see your initiative in action Kind regards Stan
