Communication is key

Communication is key

We understand that?building successful, professional, trusting relationships is key to future development opportunities with our employers. Our aim is to embed a culture of learning within the businesses we work with, resulting in various benefits across all areas of the business.

At an Employer-Account Management meeting recently, we were able to discuss learner progress on a granular level, as required by the Employer. We were able to not only utilise the MI reporting suite, but also access the Tutor updates to add context to the data. We closely monitor the progress of each of our learners on a weekly basis to ensure high-quality learning is taking place, and our learners are supported to continue successfully progressing through their apprenticeship journey in a timely fashion. We capture this information through our MI suite, but also go the extra mile to ensure there is a ‘human’ sense check too. The narrative around progress is often key to the real picture.

We collate this information to ensure the quality of our provision and the welfare of our learners, so it makes sense to share it with our employers too. Each stakeholder understanding their role and what their responsibilities are really is key to building those successful relationships.

Keeping regular contact, whether through pre-agreed contractual account review meetings, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, six-monthly or annually, or ad-hoc discussions, all help to ensure continuity of delivery, commitment, and objection handling, mitigating issues before they develop.
