Common yet Great Ways for Generating Content Ideas

Being consistent in the digital space is not hard. What is hard is remaining consistent with content that resonates with your audience. We are already aware that content marketing is feasible only when your content speaks the mind of your readers or audience.

So, how do we fish out these ideas?

Experience has taught me that greatness often emanates from the least expected places.

Laudable results do not always originate from being too serious about life. You can call it a mystery but that is what it is.

As a content creator, I can tell you for free that my content that does so well are those with some sense of "casual"...you know those, "I just want to post today" things.

I saw a skit that explained this so well. Some guys were fishing at the sea. From the look of things, they weren't progressing despite their seriousness( they were so focused). Then one guy showed up from nowhere singing and dancing like he came to play, and in a matter of seconds, caught a fish.

When it comes to generating ideas that will sweep your audience off their feet, the truth is they are not always far-fetched; they exist in and around us, in the common things.

In today's newsletter, I'll be opening your eyes to those common places where you can find great content ideas.?

  • Multi-Purpose Old Content

I learned from experience that the best way to create a loyal brand is by saying the same thing over and over again. Check out the content you have created before that did well, try re-writing it in another format. You could try carousels, list forms (with bullets), share a recent experience, etc. You don't have to talk about a new thing every day. This was what a popular influencer I know did,? and became what they are today.

  • Learn from Your? Superiors

In every field, there are influencers. There are always people who might have gone ahead of you. There is no harm in learning from them. You don't have to copy. Check out their posts that are doing well, and try to recreate your version that suits your brand.?

Think of it this way, if you can learn from the mistakes of others, why not learn from their wins too?

  • Listen to Your Audience

The best way to understand people's problems is by hearing from them. Your audience will always communicate their needs whenever they speak. It could be in the comments, in forums, events, etc. Being attentive will give you the avenue to know what they want to hear.

You can equally ask the question yourself.? Polls and question tags have proven to be effective in helping people see their brand through the eyes of their audience

  • Ask Google

Google is another great place to generate content ideas.?

When you make your search on a particular topic or area on Google, down the page, there's a section titled "People also search"

Here, Google shares what people often search about that is related to your topic. You can leverage them to understand what your audience searches for.

Also, you can ask google a direct question. You can search for content ideas that are related to your niche.?

  • Ask AI

This might not be a regular tip but it's simple and easy.? Artificial intelligence did not come to take over our jobs as most of us think. AI, when understood, makes it seamless and easy.

By typing exactly what you want like, "content ideas for a travel blog", AI will give you possible ideas you can develop.

Finally, content ideas can come from the least expected places. As a content creative, you need to be attentive and a bit of a sleuth so that you will be able to notice them when they come by.

Thank you so much for stopping by again. I trust you have value. Which of the tips is your favorite?

Can't wait to hear from you soon
