Use, maintenance and repair of door closers:
When the newly installed door closers are used for about a week to 10 days, all screws should be checked and re-tightened.
Use the manufacturer's recommended hydraulic fluid. For cold areas, use hydraulic fluids with a low freezing point.
After the door close is put into use, it should be regularly checked whether the installation screw is loose and missing, whether the connecting arm colliding with the door body or the door frame, whether the door body is deformed and loose, whether the closing buffer effect is good, and whether the support guide is leaking oil.
After a period of use of door closers, the following problems usually occur:
1) The installation screw is loose or missing, resulting in the incorrect installation position of the door closing device and the damage of the connecting arm;

2) The buffer effect of the door close device becomes worse when it is closed, resulting in a collision between the door and the door frame, resulting in the deformation of the door body;
From the structural point of view, the door close is a closed whole, and its quality is almost invisible from the appearance.
The most critical quality issue for door closers is whether there is oil leakage, because the door closers rely on fluid throttling in the internal hydraulic system to control the closing process. Oil leakage means that the hydraulic system fails, so the hydraulic system is the only criterion that determines the service life of the door close. The main cause of oil leakage is that the wear of the pinion support rail increases the clearance, the wear of the seal ring reduces the sealing effect, or the throttle spool rotates counterclockwise away from the body when the buffer effect is adjusted.
