Common mode choke intrduction
?The common-mode choke is a kind of inductor that suppresses noise in single-ended or differential signaling systems. It is used in high frequency and radio frequency (RF) applications. Common mode chokes typically have lower impedance than ferrite bead chokes and they are used in digital applications because they are linear devices.
?It has two ways for current flow: One for the driven terminal to block the leakage of the high frequency voltage, and another for the driven terminal to return to the negative direction by acting as a filter for common-mode signals and suppressing aliasing in RF interference.
is used to reduce electromagnetic interference in a single cable. Common mode filters are used in various electrical applications such as cables, power lines and transformers. The common mode choke coil is a means to selectively eliminate noise coming through the ground wire from getting into other electronics via the power line cables.
